There were so many times I'd be stuck in LA traffic trying to grab developer or a few tubes of color before a client. I could order food or groceries instantly — but not my salon essentials. That made no sense.

Like many great ideas, PixiKwik was born out of real-life challenges experienced firsthand

Our founder and CEO, Ruben McCain, a veteran stylist with decades in the beauty industry, often found himself racing across Los Angeles to pick up last-minute supplies between clients.

He knew there had to be a better way — and that beauty professionals deserved the same level of speed, convenience, and support other industries enjoy. That's when the seed for PixiKwik was planted: a delivery platform built for beauty professionals by beauty professionals

A PixiKwik is an innovative app built for beauty and wellness professionals — including hair stylists, barbers, nail techs, estheticians, makeup artists, tattoo artists, massage therapists, spa owners, and even beauty school students. We make it simple to order supplies and get them delivered fast — often in as little as 45 minutes.

Browse the app, select the supplies you need, and place your order. A PixiKwik driver will pick up your items from a vendor partner and deliver them straight to your door — often within 45 minutes to an hour.
Most orders arrive within minutes. We guarantee most orders within an hour, depending on your location, vendor inventory, and driver availability.
PixiKwik gives you access to a wide variety of pro-grade supplies, including :
  • Hair products (shampoos, conditioners, tools, extensions, etc.)
  • Nail supplies (acrylics, gels, polish, drills, tools, etc.)
  • Skin care (facial masks, cleansers, oils, etc.)
  • Makeup essentials (brushes, palettes, disposable applicators, etc.)
  • Spa & wellness equipment (towels, massage oils, wax supplies, etc.)
  • Tattoo supplies (inks, needles, aftercare products, etc.)
  • PPE & sanitation (gloves, masks, sanitizers, etc.)
Our pilot program launches in Los Angeles, CA in Fall 2025 (after Labor Day). Expansion to Atlanta and additional cities is planned for 2026.
There’s no subscription fee. Product prices and delivery fees are displayed before checkout. Delivery fees vary by distance, delivery speed (standard vs priority), and order size — no hidden charges.
Delivery fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on vendor distance, speed, and order size.
Yes. You can:
  • Choose a specific vendor, or
  • Use the PixiKwik smart match system, which automatically selects the nearest vendor with available inventory
You’ll get a real-time tracker inside the app showing when your order is confirmed, picked up, and out for delivery.
Yes. Returns are handled according to each vendor’s policy. Most vendors accept returns on unused and unopened items, but conditions may vary. Check your order details for the specific policy before starting a return.
Yes. We encourage vendors to use eco-friendly packaging and optimize delivery routes to cut emissions.
